I'm not saying they beat those teams.. I'm saying that's a hell of a statement . Wouldn't make it out of round 1.

I just think a team in round 6 deserves a little more respect than that.

No question that they're getting destroyed tonight tho.

It's a tough statement to validate, and one that i personally didnt make. The problem is, if they don't beat those teams in the regular season, thus winning their district, there is a good chance theyre matched up with one of them first round of the playoffs.

They finish at best 3rd in district 10, 3rd in 11, possibly 4th in district 12. They mightve won district 9, which is the only scenario I see them advancing to the 2nd round in region 3 this year.

Kountze doesn't make state title in place of Mineola, but these teams would: Buna, Rockport, Teague, Kirbyville, EC, Malakoff, or Whitney
