TxHoops Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Big day for Charlie. Hopefully he knows how to coach 5 star recruits He told McNeal he will catch the first pass of the season next year. I wonder how that sits with other recruits and current players. 😂😂😂😂😂 Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 @max_olson: Malik Jefferson's father on A&M trying for flip when they get DC: "A commitment from a Jefferson is final. It's over." Quote
TxHoops Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 I heard this a few months ago and it seems to ring true here. Charlie will do better with kids with strong parental influences at home. Sumlin will do better with kids who like to do their own thing. And Charlie prefers the type of kid who is used to strong discipline (no pun intended) from his family. But Kevbo does do well with the youngsters looking for a Swaggy coach who will dance with them after a win... Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

As soon as he was given that extension, you knew it was coming. Frantastic, Shermanator, now Swaggy K. The Aggy joke is an institution, even in coaching decisions... Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 TexAgs is fun right now. It's glorious! Lots of pot banging going on right now. Sumlin may have to drive his car to work this week. bullets13 1 Quote

TxHoops Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Funny how he is not mentioned for all those NFL jobs lately. He better hope a QB doesn't emerge in Austin next season. Another 6-7 win season in collieville combined with a resurgence of Longhorn football will take away the only title he can claim - Coach February. bullets13 1 Quote
TxHoops Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Aggies should've put some semblance of a defense on the field by now, otherwise these 2 decisions go the other way...now I just hope we can hold on to Daylon Mack!! FIFY. As for Mack, wait for it.... I Quote
Roper84 Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Congrats. I guess y'all paid more than we did. Quote
Callaway7 Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Can't believe they didn't throw everything and the kitchen sink at muschamp. Regardless of florida's offense still a great d cord. Quote

OldTimer Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Funny how Texas finally wins one and the old tiresome Longhorn fans come out of the woodwork. "The Aggy joke is an institution, even in coaching decisions" And you wonder why most everybody but Texas fans normally hate Texas - could it be that at lot - in fact most - are obnoxious. "Another 6-7 win season in collieville" - I thought the only team that is going 6-7 this year is the Longhorns ;) "Well those wins are declining at that other school. " - they have been declining at Texas as well. (8-5 vs 6-7) Quote

Strong first year he wins 6. Ask me next year if his wins are declining like Sumlins are currently. Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 The aggies can recruit anyone and everyone they want. The problem is that once they sign'em, someone has to coach'em. They have not done a good job of doing that on the defensive side of the ball. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

OldTimer Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 No you see I see it clear as day. You are Anti-Aggie so everything they do is wither bad or just luck - I understand your bias. You are right to a degree that A&M W-L have declined - but you also fail to understand that Texas IF Mack Brown had stayed would have been better that 6-7 - that is my opinion. Quote

I saw the Ags are a 4.5 pt dog against a team we whipped up on pretty good. As for me and my cohorts being obnoxious, and everyone else but Horns thinking so - ask a red raider or a Baylor bear if they think Aggies are obnoxious. Glass houses my friend... Quote
bullets13 Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 you know, with all of the attention this decision got through ESPN, this is a REALLY big victory for UT. Not only did a big-time 5 star recruit sign with the horns, he brought with him a 4 star wide receiver, and spurned aTm very publicly. Once Kyler and Daylon de-commit, regardless of where they end up, UT is REALLY going to be on an upswing. Quote
TxHoops Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Now enough of you gomers. It's game time! Go Stangs!! Quote

Kyler will look good in green up at a little school in the northwest that BG is fond of. Quote
