WOS is fortunate that Gilmer came out overconfident. If Gilmer had given 100% they would have hung 60 on WOS. There is a reason why Gilmer players were up and down the All-State team and WOS was absent.

whatever dude, fact is they didn't. Fact is wos had a terrible second half and Gilmer didn't. Fact is Gilmer overall was the better team and brought home the trophy. Fact is these type comments from you are pointless.

`I don't know what game you were watching, but Gilmer got shutdown the 1st half. They should feel very lucky WOS played the worst second half they have all year. Can't turn the ball over or drop passes when your playing a good team, and Gilmer is a very good team. WOS has one less turnover and Gilmer losses one of their fumbles, different outcome. WOS wins.

If , If's and but's were candy and nuts , it would be Christmas all year long. Congrats to both teams . The game was as close as the score , that's why they keep it.

All of you need to chill out with the personal attacks and stick to football. I'm a WOS fan and was at the game. Seemed to me that WOS came out fast but ran outta gas in the third. Gilmer is a well coached team and made the Stangs pay for their mistakes, including dropped passes and routes. When you get to that level... Congratulations to the WOS Mustangs on another wonderful season I thoroughly enjoyed. BTW, you should all have to be Pirate fans to understand true pain.

I've spent a lot of time with BG & LilTex lately. Two men who served my country and are passionate about HS football in the STATE of Texas. Not just secluded to SETX schools that does not have the type of comminuty support they are worthy of. I'm not defending him over you. But, to say anything personal like that when somebody brings valid points to this msg board on a daily basis is a bit disrespectful. Did we not meet you at the HJ game vs Lagrange? C'mon Griff. This guy gets it, WOS had a good first half and Gilmer had a monster 2nd half. Congrats Intergrity on your teams victory. As a Mustang fan it stung to see our guys build a lead only to have it disappear, but you guys played harder and had few mistakes. They earned it, no doubt.

I know all three of you are passionate about HS football because I've read about your travels to many games featuring a variety of teams. I think you've not understood the gist of my original post. This is not meant to be as personal as you might think, so don't take it that way. Again...I was pointing out his constant posting that is just irritating at times. It's just post padding into overkill. I just wish he would take a break from it sometimes. It would make the threads a little more enjoyable to read when the same person isn't jumping in with a comment every 5 seconds and pretending to know the inside scoop about every topic.
