badndn Posted January 31, 2015 Report Posted January 31, 2015 Nobody gets 'discovered' at a camp. Most of the camp admins and camp coaches already have a very, short list of who will be the MVP for that day before the first kid walks on the field. But tell me more about how a college coach, or an admin from 247sports, rivals, studentsports, scout.com, etc will value the opinion of Uncle RayRay more than a coach like Toby Foreman. This I would like to hear. Please enlighten me. By bringing them to said camps. Most coaches have that list you speak of because they got to work with the kids on that list when they were younger at a camp somewhere. Quote
PNGDAD Posted February 5, 2015 Report Posted February 5, 2015 You get exposure to college coaches at Camps. HS coaches in Texas are not allowed at those camps. Mom, Pop, MawMaw, PawPaw or Uncle RayRay, thats who is best at getting players exposure to college coaches. You get exposure to college coaches at Camps. Actually Coach Forman does go to the camps with his players. I saw him over the summer at the Texas A&M camp with some of his players that I was at with my son. Quote
Tee Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 Do most coaches go? Seems like they would want to 1 to see their team 2 to scout the others I went last year with my brother in law and really enjoyed -- and I don't have any kids in the hunt-- Quote
MAYFIELD Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Alot of coaches bring their kids, if just for support for them. Quote
