thetragichippy Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 I used to tell my PeeWee football team that if the Ref's cost you the game, you didn't practice hard enough...... Englebert 1 Quote

What Dez did was not a penalty by the rule of the law. And it's amazing how many people say things like "Learn the rulebook, what he did was CLEARLY a penalty", and then they mis-cite a rule. I saw on Deadspin where someone listed all rules in their entirety that people were quoting as to why Dez should've been flagged for coming onto the field, when in fact none of the rules applied to him. Lots of crybabies. Seriously. Of course, I would be saying the same thing had that sequence gone against Dallas. Quote
bullets13 Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=12129092This is great and all, but in the article, the same guy who says that they missed the blatant hold against Suh (who the NFL ended up letting play after he should've been suspended) also says the Pass Interference against Hitchens was debatable. So you show that the refs miss another call, except he says they might not have missed the first one. I'd also argue there are blatant holds on the majority of plays that do not get called. It almost has to be super-blatant to draw a flag. Quote
Ty Cobb Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 How about this, the COWBOYS got a break. That play did not win the game for DALLAS and it didn't turn it in their favor. The COWBOYS got a play to go their way instead of against them. I'll take 5 more if it's possible. baddog and JWB 2 Quote

baddog Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Cowboys held them to 3 pts in the second half.....whats Detroit's excuse for that? Absolutely none, except that Dallas' defense was swarming like hornets. Detroit lost and can't accept it, neither can the haters. The only thing that would have made this victory any sweeter is if the head coach of Detroit had been Schwartz. Mr. Buddy Garrity and JWB 2 Quote
