Could be correct on both counts. However, Pitt showed they can be horrible early in the season, and Carolina should not be there with a losing record, so maybe a tad of wishful thinking on my part, even though I like Cam Newton. Can't always go with the favorite. That's one thing gambling taught me.

badndn was right about the QB play. I didn't think it was going to be THAT big of a factor. Palmer would have made some of those throws, but he would have also gotten killed with that protection. Panthers came to play.
