Guest D6 Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 1 Westbrook2 Bridge City3 Nederland4 PN-G5 SilsbeeWith Harrington and Flores, PNG may be ahead of Nederland. It depends on who steps up with Helmke for Nederland.
TigerMom Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 Silsbee, hands down, with Schooling, McDonald & Skinner
ballin4life Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 I think Ozen with Lott, Gardiner, James, and Darkins all throws 80+and pitch for 2 or more years.
adminbaberuth Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 With Harrington and Flores, PNG may be ahead of Nederland. It depends on who steps up with Helmke for Nederland.Look for Ryan Sampere, Josh Cabra and Justin Richard from Nederland to step up.
wb09 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 I don't see how you can put West Brook as one of the top pitching staff. We don't have many true standout pitchers. If the Christopher kid was still here then it would no doubt be solid. Hope we have a good year though.
sarge Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Barbers Hill's staff: Barrera Hales ThammAll throw 85+ and two are southpaws. Not too shabby.

tvc184 Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 I spoke to Griff at LCM the other day, he told me that HF pitching staff was overrated, this proofs it. You bet it does. Remember, you read it here first... ;D

BIG CAT Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Are you kidding me Silsbee at #7 they should be #1 or #2.
elhector1 Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 You know what I love about pre-season polls and hype? The moments duirng a game when many a fan is heard to utter..."who th ehell is that?""I ain't neever seen him beofre"...Every school has a kid that surprises someone...and that is the beauty of baseball....that it has to be played before we decide who "best" is......
WarriorSports Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 West Brook and Silsbee for 3A and up....Buna and Woodville for 2A and down...
Guest WB42 Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 I watched Schooling all summer. He alone makes Silsbee a dominate staff. Then you add Mcdonald and Skinner. They should be in the top four.
SHS_ATW Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 no way Silsbee is 7Schooling is a hell of a pitcherMcDonald and Skinner are both great alsoway better than 7th
LHS90 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 Guys, You mean to tell me that Ozen, with Darkins, James, Gardiner And Lott are ranked 10th best in your opinion. I don't think that Ozen has enough depth to compete with some of these teams overall, but the subject is "Best pitching staff". Ex..... Nederland only has one proven varsity pitcher(Helmke). same applies to PN-G. Lumberton and Orangefield, come on. Mo disrespect to these teams , but I think Ozen is overlooked big time.
