Anybody notice Richard Sherman always cover the other teams #2, and 3 wr?

Belicheck started doing that this year with Revis. I watched an interview about that. He said you can't cover elite receivers with the rules today. Might as well take out their #2 with your best corner and double cover the #1. Makes sense

A lot of it also has to do with Sherman staying on his side, offenses move their best receiver away from him.

as a placekicker who got laid out a few times, i like to see them call it.  yes, he did some acting, but he was clearly hit, and when you've got all your momentum going forward and all your weight on your plant leg, that's a dangerous spot to be.

I'm not sure if I know what roughing the kicker is anymore. I haven't seen it called in so long. I would assume hitting the kickers leg while its 5 ft off the ground and spinning him over to land on his back might be it. Maybe you have to rip them down by the facemask or horse collar them now?
