bullets13 Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 I believe he'll run a similar offense to what HJ did last year, but out of the shotgun with a few extra wrinkles. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

bullets13 Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 I know what they ran at George Ranch I was told they run a slot T/wing T but a lot of it out of the shotgun. But maybe I'm wrong? I'm just repeating what I heard. Quote

AHUDDLESTON Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 Is there a reason behind this statement? Most of them have been there for a long time. Quote

bjimbo Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 HJ is fixing to lose some very good coaches. Most staffs move on after something like this takes place but I'm sure Coach Sloan will be meeting with the staff to address the transition. Hopefully those very good coaches don't leave and the kids get to keep them, get a new very good HC also. HJ should be able to pick up where they left off. Quote

Head football coaches like to bring in their own guys or hire for themself. Eliminates any loyalty issues for previous coach...plus...they just want their own people. That's part of the glamor of being head man. Quote

Aggreed, however since the original HC left on his own terms I don't know if there is a loyalty issue with the current staff. More like a "do I get to keep my job issue". Quote

oldschool2 Posted February 25, 2015 Report Posted February 25, 2015 Also helps that the hire is not the HC at another school, at least in terms of bringing coaches with him. That doesn't matter. If he's a first time HC that just means he's more likely to try to bring people he's worked with before. Quote
jenks Posted November 16, 2015 Author Report Posted November 16, 2015 I see the answer to my 2nd question was YES, HJ returned to Pre-Dubois play. I hope HF does not make the same mistake with their head coach!!! Quote
