king Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Rumor that Tim Irvin has decided to visit Auburn and Charlie Strong told him if he does he will not be recognized as a commit and Timmy is going anyway. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Auburn has a better Full Cost of Attendance allowance. Plus, they pay it to you in advance. Quote
TxHoops Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 It's tough being right all of the time... No kidding, like with the PAC 12? By the way, I hear the rumor king speaks of is entirely correct. Offer got pulled when he decided to visit. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

TxHoops Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Thats dumb. Don't disagree. Mack did same crap. Not sure on semantics. Whether he was not considered a commit or offer got pulled. Big difference and heard both versions. Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 If I ask you to go steady and you say yes- Then why would I not dump you if you went on a date with someone else? Quote
TxHoops Posted January 18, 2015 Report Posted January 18, 2015 Doesn't matter anyway. Apparently they had a disagreement, Irvin committed to Auburn and will enroll there this week. Buh bye. Quote
TxHoops Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 If I ask you to go steady and you say yes- Then why would I not dump you if you went on a date with someone else? Because it's recruiting, not an episode of "Joanie loves Chachi." ;) Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 Because it's recruiting, not an episode of "Joanie loves Chachi." ;) I would rather watch "Charles in Charge". TxHoops 1 Quote

TxHoops Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 Du'Vonta Lampkin was in College Station this weekend. Does Charlie pull his offer also? Good question. Was it an official? Quote
PhatMack19 Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 Good question. Was it an official? No. He paid his own way Quote
TxHoops Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 No. He paid his own way In that case I would say pull the offer for sure. He will likely be too dumb to stay eligible. What kind of moron spends their own money to go to college station?? ;) Quote
TxHoops Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 But to be serious, that would be the distinction. Some kids go with their friends, etc. If it's not official, you are practically telling them they can't go to any cities with universities in them. Quote

TxHoops Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 In all fairness, I'm not sure it was Cam Newton money. One thing about the $EC, no one wants investigations... Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
badndn Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 My suspicion tells me that this will turn out to be a positive move for Coach Strong. Just feel like this kid would not have jived with the New UT philosophy that Charlie is implementing. Little Timmy seems too much like his uncle at the same age and in todays NCAA and social media world, I'm not sure one can survive the way the Playmaker did. Quote
king Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 Irvin should of went to Michael's alma mater. He could of got free hookers and blow. Quote
