Guest Bridge City Card Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Will Bridge City Make It To State?
hfaninthestands Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 I hope someone from our district can finally win the thing
Guest Cardinal12 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 To early to tell but it should be another close year....
BIG CAT Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 They can't talk about going to state just yet because they have to get past this tough district first.
cardinal81o7 Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 you're right we have to make the playoffs first, and when we do we'll probably run into another team from our own district. are there any other standouts from region III that anyone can think of? i think we have the playoff experience in our main players, which is a huge plus, especially in pitching. it should be fun, making it to austin would be awesome but we gotta play the season first
cardinal81o7 Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 we're both on the honor rollim in honor society and was academic all-state football...shut your mouth
hfaninthestands Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 whoa, whoa, whoa..don't wanna get the poll deleted....cant be mean and tell people to shut their mouth...
East TX Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 There is always the factor of luck--good or bad, to consider.Personnel wise, they have a team with all the elements including pitching--Phillip Meeks, Johnny Dishon, Bolton, and Jeff Stringer. These are deep bracket playoff veterans from the last couple of years--savvy counts! You also have three players who may skip college and go Pro straight from HS-Dishon(Sr), Casey(Jr) & the 9th grader Hicks.
