CraigS Posted January 22, 2015 Report Posted January 22, 2015 Not that I care what this idiots says....never liked him anyway. But why is it he can "hate" (his words) a group, then claim it doesn't affect his job....whereas, some can make comments about gays, muslims, etc. then be fired because of lack of tolerance and the inability to do their job without being bias towards said group......Atlanta fire chief and Phil Robertson comes to mind! From the article: "There are a few things I hate more than the NRA," Gumbel said. "I mean truly. I think they're pigs. I think they don't care about human life. I think they are a curse upon the American landscape. So we got that on the record." "The sports show host said his disdain for the gun rights group had no effect on his reporting." http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2015/01/21/real-sports-host-bryant-gumbel-nra-is-curse-upon-american-landscape/?intcmp=features Quote
77 Posted January 22, 2015 Report Posted January 22, 2015 Just one more intolerant left wing nut job! Quote
stevenash Posted January 22, 2015 Report Posted January 22, 2015 Maybe the two of you have forgotten. Intolerance, racism, and hate accusations are valid only when uttered by the left. 77 1 Quote
bullets13 Posted January 22, 2015 Report Posted January 22, 2015 I'm very much pro-gun, and I don't particularly care for the NRA, but his comments are WAY out of line. Quote
LumRaiderFan Posted January 22, 2015 Report Posted January 22, 2015 Who cares...as an NRA member since I was 18, I sure don't! Quote
tvc184 Posted January 22, 2015 Report Posted January 22, 2015 Hmmm....... I was just paying on my lifetime membership today. Quote
stevenash Posted January 22, 2015 Report Posted January 22, 2015 Who cares...as an NRA member since I was 18, I sure don't! You must like to shoot people :D Quote
LumRaiderFan Posted January 22, 2015 Report Posted January 22, 2015 You must like to shoot people :D I obviously don't care about human life according to Gumbel...it just baffles me the impression some get about the NRA. Quote
baddog Posted January 22, 2015 Report Posted January 22, 2015 Some people shouldn't have a mike stuck in their face. Anyone who has to go to Bryant Gumbel for guidance is very lost. Quote
tvc184 Posted January 23, 2015 Report Posted January 23, 2015 From the article..... "I think they don't care about human life. I think they are a curse upon the American landscape". I wonder how many of the thousands of people convicted every year for murder are members of the NRA. Quote
