king
First half of the season these two guys have been ballin. It will be between these two for MVP.
RaiderRed30
For MVP: James Harden. So little around him For first pick in creating a team: Steph over anybody
ladybug33
Hardin ! and second Clay Thompson
Mr. Buddy Garrity
Curry for MVP
HurricaneCal
Right now would probably go with Curry then Harden. To start a franchise I would probably go with Unibrow from the Pelicans.
king
People say Klay Thompson is a better sg. Klay Thompson got player of the week averaging 32 points and 2.3 steals in the 4 games he played this week.. Well guess what harden averaged 37.25 ppg and 2.75 steals per game

Klay Thompson got player of the week averaging 32 points and 2.3 steals in the 4 games he played this week.. Well guess what harden averaged 37.25 ppg and 2.75 steals per game Here's the problem with that logic. Who does harden have around him? Dwight but has attitude and was hurt, Josh Smith got ejected from one game. Who else was their for the Rockets last week. Klay Thompson has Steph, Andre, Draymond, Harrison Barnes, Bogut, and David Lee that all can be the man any given night. Last week he averaged around 33 mins a game and put up 37 in a perfect quarter. Even Steve Kerr said that was Michaelesque. When you brake an nba record you are guaranteed the player of the week award. I think Harden should be MVP. Before seeing him against the Warriors I didn't think so but in that game the rest of his team seemed to quit but he kept going in the 3rd. Steph is probably the better all around player now that he's playing defense and can shoot from anywhere but his team has too many weapons for their to be one star. I'm a huge warriors fan (and a Steph fan from Davidson that's why you see 30 in my name) but the truth is Bogut has been the MVP of the warriors this season. He changes everything. Tonight he became ill before the game and their was no inside presence. Harden should be MVP but LeBron could be there at the end as well. bullets13
I'm fine with either Harden or Curry winning it this year. it'll be nice to see a little parity in who wins the award for once.

Agreed on Davis. Look for his next contract to be enormous. Probably the most overall productive player in the League.
king
Harden got voted western conference player of the month twice in a row now. Yet he gets reserve spot in all star.
RaiderRed30
Steph dropped 51 (10-16 3pt) with 26 in the 3rd as the dubs came back from a 40-18 deficit in the first to win 128-114 against the mavs.
king
Hard to make an argument against Harden. He has carried that team squarely on his back. Take him away and they are a 15 win team right now

RaiderRed30
Just realized the name of the thread is wrong. It's Stephen not Stephan or also allowable Greatest Shooter of ALL TIME. But still Harden. While Dwight's out is going to be the test period. Rockets stay were they are Hardens got. Lose some spots then it's up for grabs. king
Harden on pace to be 3rd player to average 27p, 6.5a, 5.5r and 2 steals. Others, Michael Jordan, LeBron James.

He has to be the man on Houston, Dwight out due to injury again right? Other than Smith who else do they have as a main offensive option? king
Curry hits 10 3s in one game media won't shutup about him and his "MVP" caliber season... Harden avgs. 28.5 in January and has a nine 3 point game... *crickets* I can't wrap my mind around it still.
