I almost have a South Bend feeling for Snoops son. His friend is going there as well.  But My guess would be ...  Heck who knows lol.

He committed to UCLA.

Nice counter punch by the #Bruins with the addition of WR Cordell Broadus. #UCLA doing so well in other parts of the country. #SigningDay

Cordell Broadus -- Snoop Dogg's football star son -- just announced he has committed to attend UCLA next year.

Broadus -- one of the top high school wide receivers in the country -- just went on ESPN and made the announcement.

"I just want to play in front of my family," Cordell says.

Broadus will play on the same team team as Diddy's son Justin Combs -- who's a defensive back for the UCLA Bruins.

Interesting move considering Snoop is a die-hard USC fan.

Snoop says he's proud of his son -- and says UCLA offered the best platform for his son.

"I''m gonna back him up 100% ... so I'm throwing out my USC drawers."

UCLA DC gone before the ink is even dry on those Letters of intent. Wow! I wonder how much Mora paid him to stick around until everyone signed and how those players feel right now.

Thank God for big brother eh?

Wow! 600 yards in 2 seasons and gets LSU? I remember a legacy scholly from a big school across the border from LSU. Don't think it worked out. But congrats and good luck to the obvious LITTLE brother of that beast

We have a nationally ranked recruit class of #35. It's the first time in the history of the ranking, and in Miami football that the U has been outside of the 25th tanking spot!

Yet we have #1 class for 2016 so far...

Miami has 13 players committed for 2016. Ole Miss and TCU are 2 & 3 with 8 commits. A&M, Texas and Bama each have 3. It looks like Golden skipped 2015 and got an early start for next year. Still a long way to go though.

I look for the NCAA to institute an early signing period for football like they have in other sports. Basketball has 7 days in November where players can sign early then the regular date in April. A lot of school are going to push for this because of the amount of money and time spent recruiting players. This year is one of the worst I've seen as far as players flipping back and forth and it will only get worse with social media.

I can't decide if I'm for that or against it. The way coaches change jobs it isn't really fair for the players to be locked into a school after the coach that they agreed to play for takes another job. It also isn't fair to the schools to hold spots for kids that don't keep their word, but I guess that's part of the game.

Thoughts?

Probably one of the worst people in college football: Bobby Petrino, still not a man of his word http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/02/05/bobby-petrino-still-not-a-man-of-his-word/ via @ProFootballTalk

This goes along with my post yesterday. The coach is supposed to be tied to his word but the players aren't?

Atta boy, Les.

Les Miles on Louisiana kids not choosing LSU: “He doesn’t want to stay home, to hell with him” http://ble.ac/1C3cERc

Compete for Nattys and they will stay home. Les blows that statement out his arse every year around signing day, its getting old.

    • I personally hope PN-G gets 2nd gets to the 2nd round wins the flip against SOC and drag them them to Houston to play
    • I like option number two, PNG and Nederland both win. Nederland i’ll be the district champion, number 1 seed or whatever you want to call it. Yes I know that if two or three teams tie with the same record, they will be called co-champions and everyone gets a trophy. One team however will go in as the first place team in district and will play the fourth place team in the bi-district round. If PNG and Nederland both win, Nederland will be #1. • Virginia has same day voter registration. A person can literally walk in to the voting location, register and then vote. So the premise that Virginia might be stopping people with a legitimate right to vote is nonsense. From what I gather in the news report, assuming that the ones I have read are correct, the people that were removed, filled out a drivers license registration and marked that they were not an American citizen. Could the person have made a mistake bychecking the box incorrectly? Although unlikely it is certainly possible. That same person who was removed can go into the same voting location where he would have voted and again, complete a voter registration and then vote.  That went into the Supreme Court’s decision.  If such a person votes by registering on election day, he fills out a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are not originally counted and or not counted unless needed. For example….  Statewide there are 500 provisional ballots cast. A person wins the election by 4,000 votes. That would be no need to count the provisional ballots as it will not matter. Then let’s say there are 5,000 provisional ballots cast in the election. One candidate then wins the election by only 1,500 votes. In that case, the election could definitely swing on those provisional ballots. The state will then investigate each person to make sure they live at the correct address listed and that they are American citizens. If these things are correct, the vote will then be counted. Safe Harbor is not untillll…… I think December 17th this year so there will be six weeks to verify the provisional ballots if needed. The purging of the names of people who checked a state form saying that they were not an American citizen, will not stop that same person from voting.
