Txfootball07 Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 Recruiting service rankings are not absolutes, and perhaps you could influence recruiting rankings by writing checks - I wouldnt know.What I do know is that you can laugh at rankings or you can mock rankings but college coaches are paid and remain employed for winning ball games, and apparently a number of quality college coaches feel strongly enough about Tim Ferguson to have offered him scholarship opportunities. I think these coaches are the ultimate authorities on who are the leading performers, the ranked performers, in their sports and the evidence suggests that Tim is one of these leading performers.To suggest that a membership to a recruiting service can garner one this kind of attention is laughable. Congratulations Tim Ferguson - you have worked hard and you have earned it.
