baddog Posted March 18, 2015 Report Posted March 18, 2015 @AdamSchefter: FWIW: Free-agent DE Greg Hardy is scheduled to take a physical with the Cowboys in the morning. Hmmmm I hope he is as good as advertised. A legitimate pass rusher is a huge piece to the defensive puzzle. It makes everything stronger. Would love a pair of bookends. Maybe someone will surprise me. Quote
JWB Posted March 18, 2015 Report Posted March 18, 2015 According to Hardy's agent...Hardy will make decision between Dallas or Tampa Bay by the end of the day. I hope Dallas gets this deal done. Hardy would instantly make our defense alot stronger! Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
mat Posted March 18, 2015 Report Posted March 18, 2015 I hate to see Murray go they couldn't afford to keep him. I'd take AP at the right price. As a backup last year Randle averaged 6.7 yards per carry. Might be worth considering. A good OL can make an average back look really good. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 18, 2015 Author Report Posted March 18, 2015 @ProFootballTalk: It's a one-year deal for Greg Hardy in Dallas, that can be worth up to $13.1 million but that has a minimum base salary. He has agreed to terms. Quote
JWB Posted March 18, 2015 Report Posted March 18, 2015 Our Defense just instantly improved, from the line to the secondary Quote

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted April 1, 2015 Author Report Posted April 1, 2015 Keep Jerrah outta the draft room! We need a DT, CB and RB, not a QB. Quote
HurricaneCal Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 If Melvin Gordon is there they'll take him, but they need some Dline help awfully bad. Quote
baddog Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Got Rolondo McClain back, that's a good move. Agree. They will move Sean Lee to weak side LB now. Can someone remove that YouTube link above? It is a mistake. Thanks. Quote

baddog Posted April 2, 2015 Report Posted April 2, 2015 something is up here why would they redo his deal after Murray left I'm sure they are going after ap wouldn't make sense to do all of this for nothing Yeah, kinda fishy. Maybe the Eagles simply made Murray an offer that the Cowboys didn't think was worth it to match......even with cap room. I personally don't want AP or Flynn. Need to keep addressing the defensive line and DBs. Quote

I'm OK if the cowboys trade for ap as long as its a good price and if they haven't address the defense by now with all the FA most likely they are looking to do so by draft which make sense to go a Lil bit younger Quote
baddog Posted April 3, 2015 Report Posted April 3, 2015 This will be AP's 10th season. Great back but I can't see investing in any type of future with him. Draft Gordon or Gurley while they are young. Then try and keep them when they become FAs if they pan out. Wouldn't that be cheaper? I wanted McFadden instead of Felix Jones in 2008. McFadden is in his 7th season and I think he could even start. Need defense. Offense has to score 30+ points just to feel a little safe. Quote

I'm with you but if they can get him on a reasonable deal then why not I'm not saying trade for him on his current contract if he agrees to a 8 million a yr deal then sign him but nothing more and the cowboys should draft defense first this draft is loaded with rb's so you won't be missing much as rb's in the draft Quote
HurricaneCal Posted April 3, 2015 Report Posted April 3, 2015 Only play 83 games in those 7 years so either he's fresh or he's going to get banged up. Played 16 games once! Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
