Mr. Buddy Garrity
@BleacherReport: Report: Josh Hamilton had a relapse that involved “at least cocaine†http://ble.ac/1EtgntT http://twitter.com/BleacherReport/status/570764627866484737/photo/1 Cocaine? Again? Forget baseball the guy needs help. He's the Josh Gordon of MLB.
Peppermint Patty
The best part is that he self reported the lapse. He seems like a good man battling a huge demon. I pray he gets back on track personally and professionaly. Mr. Buddy Garrity and Chester86
KABrother
If I remember correctly he self-reported his alcohol relapses in 09 and 12 as well. Its gotta take a lot for him to admit his wrong doing and I would expect some leniency from MLB but he obviously has more to worry about than his baseball career at this point. badndn
I think it's clear by the declining connection of bat on ball and the ever expanding strike out numbers the last two years that the baseball career is dwindling. What is it with pro's named Josh? Hamilton, Gordon, Brent. A lot of lapse in judgment. And relapse to. Well just like Gordon, hope he gets life straight first and foremost cause theres a lot of it left if he does.

HurricaneCal
It's his wife's fault! http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/2377360-josh-hamilton-meets-with-mlb-officials-regarding-disciplinary-issue?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=programming-national?is_shared=true
Mr. Buddy Garrity
@Ken_Rosenthal: MLB just issued statement saying that Josh Hamilton will not be suspended. The arbitrator decided he did not violate his treatment program.
htownfan
I hope he keeps it together. After reading his book, it gave me some insight into his particular situation and I hope he stays the course and doesn't fall back into what he has worked hard to overcome. He has been fun to watch on the baseball field but I could care less about him as a baseball player at this point, what I care about is seeing him do the right thing and take care of himself and his family while inspiring and helping others. baddog
I have nothing against Hamilton. Just curious why he is forgiven but everyone hated Michael Irvin. He had a little coke problem. Heck, Elvis Pressley died on a toilet with a needle in his arm. We put him on a stamp. Funny how our compassion is directed.
