This is a non-issue - with a Texas fan trying again to make waves.

 

If you watch the video it stated very clearly that A&M in its contract with Chavis agreed to pay LSU the amount if it is owed - this lawsuit is for the benefit of A&M as if it is found that LSU is not owed money all it does it save A&M $400,000.00.

 

The fact that it is a College Station attorney kinda gives it away - all Chavis is doing is filing the suit for the benefit of A&M.

"Chavis’ lawsuit also named Texas A&M as a defendant. In the suit, he asked the judge to determine whether he owes LSU any damages, and if so, to require Texas A&M pay those damages."

 

This sounds like the aggies are being sued to me.

Both Chavis' lawyer, Bill Youngkin, and Texas A&M made it clear that there is no dispute between Chavis and the Aggies.

 

“The University stands behind its commitment to Coach Chavis to pay any buyout due to LSU. The issue is that Texas A&M disagrees with LSU that any buyout payment is actually due.”

 

You must read all he information and not just pull the parts that you think put Texas A&M in a bad light.
