It was time for Barnes to go. Similar to Mack brown, he did a lot for the program, but it was time for some new blood.

I know Kentucky had a few games where they were taken to the wire but they won anyway. Texas had them the whole game until the last couple of minutes. Kentucky's coaching won these games for them. Texas had several games that they had the other team beat and ended up losing. Coaching lost these games for them. Hopefully we can keep the talent level up there.

He would probably do pretty well there. SEC is a top heavy conference and isn't near as deep as what he's used to. He does really well and finishing near the top in conference and getting in the tournament.

Making almost the same amount money - maybe more depending on incentives. Tennessee can be a very good job. If you just get the top players out of Memphis, you can be a national player.
