Guest Diva Posted February 1, 2007 Report Posted February 1, 2007 WOW! I'm jealous! Can I go too?I LOVE Wrigley field. I was able to catch a couple of Cubbies games there when I was in the Windy City and it is way cool!
Guest jld510 Posted February 1, 2007 Report Posted February 1, 2007 No you aren't crazy. That is a great trip and Fenway Park is the ultimate in baseball experience. Make sure you have enough time to get to Quincy Market while you're in Boston! It's really cool.

Would yall do it yourself? Do you like it, is it cool? Or am i crazy? What a great trip. Can I go with you? I've been to Wrigley Field, Miller Park, and Turner Field over the last two years. This years trip will consist of Jacobs Field, Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, and The Pro Football HOF in Canton. What can you tell me about Jacobs?
bobcatfan Posted February 2, 2007 Author Report Posted February 2, 2007 http://www.ballparkreviews.com/clevelnd/clevelnd.htmThis is a great site to look at reviews of all the ballparks in the majors (and minors) and see how they are graded. Of the 9 ballparks i went to last summer, Jacobs Field ranks somewhere in the middle, below Wrigley, Yankee stadium, Busch, and Turner. The distinguishable feature on Jacobs Field is the "Home Run Porch" which is located just to the right of the left field pole. If you walk right behind it you can walk out of the stadium and be about 100 yards walking distance from Quicken Loans Arena (Cleveland Cavaliers arena).Right now i have me and a friend going for sure, and another friend is probably going so we have 3 probably at least. I have a couple other friends that might go, i'd like to have 4 preferably for the experience and splitting cost (hotels, gas). If i need another person to go i'll let yall know.
bobcatfan Posted February 12, 2007 Author Report Posted February 12, 2007 OK, due to scheduling conflicts, i have to scratch the july 28-aug 5 trip. This is the current trip and only trip now that me and my friend can take that we can both go on.Aug 14 Cards vs Brewers @ MIL (Miller Park)15 Reds vs Cubs @ CHC (Wrigley Field) 90 miles16 Mets vs Pirates @ PIT (PNC Park) 460 miles17 Orioles vs Bluejays @ TOR (Rogers Centre) 320 miles 18 Angels vs Red Sox @ BOS (Fenway Park) 550 miles19 Tigers vs Yankees @ NYY (Yankee Stadium) 215 miles20 Rangers vs Orioles @ BAL (Camden Yards) 190 miles21 Indians vs Tigers @ DET (Comerica Park) 530 miles22 Braves vs Reds @ CIN (Great American Ballpark) 360 milesWe might scratch the trip to Toronto just because the rogers centre is not much to look at ive heard, and we'd be driving 550 miles to boston from toronto. If we skipped toronto, that'd give us an open day to drive 590 miles to Boston from Pittsburgh. We still only have 2 people going as of now. Theres a slight possibility i will be looking for someone to go with us.
