Wednesday , January 31, 2007 Posted: 05:59 PM Donna Coach ArrestedWESLACO - Police arrested a Donna P.E. teacher for having cocaine in his truck. Scott Kenneth Fischer was formally charged with possession of a controlled substance. Officers arrested the 49-year-old during a traffic stop. Police say they also found steroids and 52 syringes inside his vehicle.The Brownsville native has worked for Donna ISD for nine years. For the last two years, he's worked at Veterans' Middle School.The district tells us Fischer submitted a letter notifying them about his arrest. It's part of district policy to do so.The district has requested a copy of the police report. They'll then determine what disciplinary action is needed. All they can find out is if he was arrested, when he was arraigned and if he gets indicted. Realistically, how much do they need?
