Donna Coach Arrested

WESLACO - Police arrested a Donna P.E. teacher for having cocaine in his truck.

Scott Kenneth Fischer was formally charged with possession of a controlled substance. Officers arrested the 49-year-old during a traffic stop. Police say they also found steroids and 52 syringes inside his vehicle.

The Brownsville native has worked for Donna ISD for nine years. For the last two years, he's worked at Veterans' Middle School.

The district tells us Fischer submitted a letter notifying them about his arrest. It's part of district policy to do so.

The district has requested a copy of the police report. They'll then determine what disciplinary action is needed.

Normally you cannot get a copy of a police report, especially where charges are pending. All they can find out is if he was arrested, when he was arraigned and if he gets indicted. Realistically, how much do they need? Are they going to make their decision on what the original reason for the traffic stop was?

people dont want to admit but roids are very common in high schools..even in southeast texas.

It's not common for the coaches to have them! What an idiot! I can just imagine how effective of a teacher this coked up, roid head was in the middle school classroom.
