IF West Hardin wins tomorrow night, WH & BS will play at 6:00 pm on Friday, February 16th in the Montagne Center for the district title. That game precede the Kountze/E.C. district championship game. Could be a great double-header for all of Southeast Texas to enjoy. I'll guess we'll know in 36 hours.

A lot of people think it is a long shot but HD has played pretty good on the road and still has to play Big Sandy.  Feel like the fan support will double for HD next Friday if WH wins this Friday.

Lots of things can happen in high school basketball.I would let both the 1-a and 2-a clubs finish thier district schedules before I bought tickets to the Montagne Center.

The game Between WH/BS really has no impact on going to Lamar. I believe this is how it will work.

If WH beats BS and both win there remaining schedule, they will meet @Lamar to decide the district Champ.

If WH loses then they could play a team to be announced @Lamar.

If WH wins and HD knocks off BS, then another team will be announced.

I believe WH was invited to this Playoff warm-up game. So if I am right they will play, someone Friday Feb.16,@6:00pm in Beaumont @Lamar.

I really hope WH will beat BS tonight, and HD knocks off BS next week, and WH become the District Champs. But a 3rd game would'nt be to bad either. Kountze vs EC for district 2A title, after the WH game will be a great double header.

Hopefully this makes sense.If not orangeman can shed some light onthe subject.

After tonight there are still 4 games to be played by WH and BS.  Anything can happen.

Our district finishes next Friday so they will only have 2 more games in district after tonight.  They could both still play two more games before the playoffs.
