fireinthehole Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 My friend told me that the Bruins already have 4 juniors with scholarship offers, and I heard they expect more. Must be a talented class! Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 Ready for The Brook to get back to being a power house! Glad they have some talent coming back. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 Ready for The Brook to get back to being a power house! Glad they have some talent coming back. Are you referring to 1982 and the Chip Ambres years? 87JAG 1 Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 Are you referring to 1982 and the Chip Ambres years? 1982 would work but they had some pretty good teams between then and now. Quote

Must be a talented class! Corbin, McKinney, Bluiett names come to mind. Who are you referring to? We all know about Corbin already. Quote
fireinthehole Posted March 12, 2015 Author Report Posted March 12, 2015 so far it is Gaines, Corbin, Blueitt, and a kid named Baldwin who didn't play last year because of a torn acl but he is suppose to be a beast at wr. That is two D1 receivers opposite of each other, that could be record setting numbers. Quote

No offense but IMO yalls QB isn't that great so i wouldnt count on those record setting numbers, he stares down his target too much. Hopefully he gets that taken care of over the summer. 87JAG Posted March 14, 2015 Report Posted March 14, 2015 Are you sure about the names. The safety got benched early in the year. He consistently gets burned in the game. Are you sure it's a football scholarship? Quote
dBerrySports Posted March 15, 2015 Report Posted March 15, 2015 Gaines and Bluiett were offered by McNeese. Corbin has 6 offers I believe, most or all from BCS schools. Not sure about the 4th one Quote

Are you sure it's a football scholarship? Maybe the safety is going to be moved to linebacker or closer to the ball at the next level? I know he looks huge from the sidelines and probably can put on a bunch of weight. Quote
87JAG Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 It's possible. I really don't like mentioning the kids by name. I do know for a fact that the starting safety got benched. The backup (a sophomore) was better. Quote
Yeoj Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Did big Beverly get any looks? He could go small D-1. Quote
fireinthehole Posted March 25, 2015 Author Report Posted March 25, 2015 Beverly just got offered today by Tulane and the outside linebacker got offered by West Point, that takes the total to 6 underclass men with offers. Wow Yeoj and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote
Yeoj Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Damn! That much talent and we will be middle of the road and make the playoffs as the 3rd or 4th seed. SMDH... Mr. Buddy Garrity and BrookAlumni 2 Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Like folks have said before about WB: there's no shortage of talent there. Hell I dont even think the team that beat Hightower had 6 with offers. BrookAlumni 1 Quote
BrookAlumni Posted March 25, 2015 Report Posted March 25, 2015 Glad to hear kids getting recognized let's hope they perform well so that these offers turn into paid scholorships! Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
dBerrySports Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 Whoever mentioned Darrell Baldwin was correct, coach Flanigan did tweet out that he got offered by Kansas. Pretty impressive considering he's coming off a knee injury. Congrats to him. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
HIGHpoint96 Posted April 6, 2015 Report Posted April 6, 2015 So how many total offers does westbrook have this season coming back? Quote
JRidge Posted April 10, 2015 Report Posted April 10, 2015 Damn! That much talent and we will be middle of the road and make the playoffs as the 3rd or 4th seed. SMDH... Yeoj just think how many scholarships they would have if these kids that go to WB who live 3 to 4 blocks from Ozen were allowed to go to the school in their neighborhood? That number would/might drop dramatically, whoa! BISD really needs to redo the zoning even though i'm glad to here they are putting kids in school at a large rate. Quote

It must be that time of year again. JRidge is bringing up his yearly recruiting rant. Lol... Please don't put the kiss of death on Ozen once again by predicting their dominance prematurely. We know how that has turned out over the last few years. Lol... Mr. Buddy Garrity and 87JAG 2 Quote

Some people just hate hearing the truth. Although I root for our team I have no way of determining the outcome. I will simply help prepare my boys to be ready for battle. Schoarships are our focus and playing hard and smart is the only way to attract offers. Ozen should be even better than last season so I'm optimistic. Don't Hate 2 Hard! Lol Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 Popcorn anyone? Think imma take in that WB vs Ozen game this year. ;) Quote
