HIGHpoint96
I heard that a school board member, Hernandez or something made a post on facebook inviting anyone who thinks they know more about how to find the right head coach, or if you think you know more about football than we do, to come to the next board meeting and have an open discussion about why they made the decision. If thats true, A) its the most unprofessional thing I've ever heard of any school board member doing, B( God i hope its true and on film somewhere cause its sure to be instant comedy and a cluster of epic proportions, C) this guy had to have been running unopposed cause who would choose someone that silly over anyone else. Man I hope thats true, if the school board is inviting people to disrupt district board proceedings and using facebook to do so that will be beyond a dog and pony show and into the realm of a straight up circus. I mean seriously if its true that a board member did that on facebook then BISD Board members are thinking finally someone is taking the heat and focus off of us. Stay Classy San Diego. oldschool2
the office sent another teacher to cover my class or I wouldn't have left the class! I didn't make any assumptions. But that definitely proves an ongoing point...a school board member called the school to talk to a teacher when that teacher was in the middle of class...for obviously no good reason at all. WOW!!! if thats true I bet the other school board members are TEE'D OFF. He's throwing the whole district under the bus if he really did that. What's the guys name. I'd like to know if thats for real or not, can't imagine someone that was elected being that stupid. Unless he was unopposed like you said, even then that's still way dumb. Thats what I've always heard about Lumberton though, It could be a good job if not for Overbearing parents who get their feelings hurt when johnny doesn't play and, a school board with personal agendas. AHUDDLESTON
Thanks oldschool for the warning, but this is my 23rd year and I am well aware of not leaving my class unattended. Mr. Buddy Garrity and Scatright

Hornet71
I heard that the board was pretty upset that he had applied for the Hardin job. Mr. Buddy Garrity

JeremyRoberts
I heard that the board was pretty upset that he had applied for the Hardin job. A friend of mine knows Larry well & said he did not apply at Hardin. If that's true than why would Lumberton folks be upset about something that did not happen? I was told by a current coach at Hardin that Coach Haynes had applied and was offered the job. I was also told by a board member that he had applied. Scatright
Did somebody let Stark know he was Hardin's second choice. I doubt he wouldn't gone that route.
IT'S IN THE BONE
Now all Lumberton needs is a wild bond issue! Maybe the aforementioned board member needs to go coach the 7 on 7 this summer to quench that desire to be a coach!
