bullets13 Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 Hard for me to believe they're finding that many 5+ pounders out there, not to mention one almost 7. I think there was one the whole tourney last year. Quote
thetragichippy Posted March 23, 2015 Report Posted March 23, 2015 Wish we knew where they were fishing.....Some drove a long ways I heard. Quote
shovel Posted March 23, 2015 Report Posted March 23, 2015 Hippy, I looked at the Basstrak on the last day of the tournament. The 2nd place finisher fished West of I-45 in Clear Creek. He ran for two hours to get there. Others fished the Calcasieu River backwaters way North of I-10. Some fished within a mile from the launch. Very interesting stuff! thetragichippy 1 Quote
mat Posted March 23, 2015 Author Report Posted March 23, 2015 A lot of success in Taylor,s Bayou. I was also impressed with how many five fish limits there were. thetragichippy 1 Quote

robanadana Posted November 1, 2015 Report Posted November 1, 2015 I was a marshal for this event. First day I drew Charley Hartley (Taylor's), second day Jerod Linter (we ran to Kemah), third day was Kurt Dove (Cow Bayou). You have not lived until you've ran from Orange to Kemah at 70 mph in a Skeeter for 2 hours one way. One of the coolest things I've ever done in my life. liltex and bullets13 2 Quote
