Bmt_4now Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 Who team will be the best in the Bmt area Quote
Bmt_4now Posted March 16, 2015 Author Report Posted March 16, 2015 Will c.....Brady have a lot of talent this year all those Silsbee boys have came together with some Bmt boys and Nederland guys....it's gonna be some interesting AAU ball playing Quote
BLUEDOVE3 Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 What age group are you referring to? Quote
TxHoops Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 Saw the Defenders 17u circuit team last night work out. TJ Atwood is getting better and better. And JJ Caldwell and he looked like Peanut Butter and Jelly out there. They were missing Mongo Cornett and Jeremy Peck. That team is going to make some noise this summer. Quote
BIG SHOW Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 I would love to see 17u-Brady play that 17u circuit team. Quote
Bmt_4now Posted March 16, 2015 Author Report Posted March 16, 2015 Do u think it'll be a good game....Brady team have some 15 year olds playing 17u and I think that'll help them in the future Quote
TxHoops Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 Way too much size on the circuit team. Different game. Brady has a very good team and does a great job with them. But they lost a couple of times last summer to Team Sneed in that tournament. Same Sneed team got beat pretty badly by the Defender elite team that was the age group under this 17u team. Along with the Hoops EYBL team, they will be the best 2 teams in Houston. Repectfully, wouldn't be very close and that's no disrespect to Brady's team at all. I haven't looked lately, but at one point this season, the Defenders Circuit team had 5 of the top 10 and 7 of the top 20 players ranked in this year's junior class... Quote
Bmt_4now Posted March 16, 2015 Author Report Posted March 16, 2015 Man, they sound good.... I think all the kids that played with team Sneed that are from silsbee went back to Brady's team and they have a 6"8" kid from Houston....it'll be a good game! TxHoops 1 Quote
BIG SHOW Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 Yeah it's not the same Brady team as last year. This years team is very good. They will turn a lot of heads this summer. Quote
BIG SHOW Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 I also don't look to much into rankings. Sadly there are politics that play a big roll in that. Quote
TxHoops Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 Me either. But does help the kids with college looks. I do trust my own eyes though ;) Quote
DeuceSixSuited Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 My team is a completely different team from last year. We will compete on every level. Might not win against the big boys but we will compete. We lost last weekend in the Semi finals to a very good team from Dallas that had multiple unsigned SR's.. They beat us by 3 and they won the championship by 6. Longhorns Elite is their name. They had 6'8, 6'7, 6'6, 6'6' 6'5 that could all play from the wing. We turned a lot of heads last weekend and did that without 2 starters there. We are going to work 2 times a week with a Vertimax and professional training starting today. Bright future for all of these young men. Please remember.... I have 4 Jr's 7 Sophmores, and 1 freshman. And when I Sub, we don't miss a beat. It's going to be a great year. Bmt_4now Posted March 17, 2015 Author Report Posted March 17, 2015 They have some up and coming talent....I'm talking about 6 and 7 year old kids that can handle that ball like those big kids it's crazy....I know of 1 that's headed to Brady's team....I think he have a older or maybe 2 older brothers....it's amazing how young these kids start out...me personally I think it's good cause it give them something to look forward to and keeping them out of trouble Bmt_4now 1 Quote
DeuceSixSuited Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Devon playing for you this summer ? We discussed it at first and we both wanted it. But he is on a very elite 8th grade team and I have 15 kids that play for me. So it probably wouldn't help him rotating in and out like that. Skill wise and talent wise... He absolutely could Bmt_4now 1 Quote
