htownfan Posted April 8, 2015 Report Posted April 8, 2015 Masters week is upon us. Personally, this is one of the greatest weeks of the year and arguably the greatest week in sports. I am pulling for Jordan Spieth to win his first major but the field is stacked. Quote

PhatMack19 Posted April 9, 2015 Report Posted April 9, 2015 Speith is currently the best player on the planet. Quote

PhatMack19 Posted April 10, 2015 Report Posted April 10, 2015 Speith shoots a 66 on Day 2 to get to -14. His score of 130 is the lowest in Master's history for 36 holes. Quote
PhatMack19 Posted April 10, 2015 Report Posted April 10, 2015 Tiger with 69 today and is -2 for the tournanebt currently in 14th place. Not bad at all. Quote
baddog Posted April 10, 2015 Report Posted April 10, 2015 AAW, explain again how the cut is derived. Quote
PhatMack19 Posted April 10, 2015 Report Posted April 10, 2015 AAW, explain again how the cut is derived. Every tournament is different, but the Masters takes the Top 50 and ties. Some take 70+ and some take those within 10 shots of the lead. If that was the case there would only be 11 players teeing it up this weekend. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted April 10, 2015 Report Posted April 10, 2015 AAW, explain again how the cut is derived. At the Masters it's top 50 and ties or the 10 shot rule. Because Speith posted -14, the 10 shot rule is not used. Top 50 and ties which ended with 55 players at +2 or better. Quote

ST413 Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 I would love to see Jordan win, Hook Em'!! But I love what this leaderboard looks like just below him! Great to see Tiger and other big names right there! Quote

baddog Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 You went out on a limb with that pick. Yeah, really. I have picked Furyk before and he let me down by losing after leading 3 days. Lots of pressure on day 3 and 4. Hope Spieth can hold up to it. Quote
