htownfan
I totally agree with the punishments handed down on the organization and wouldn't have minded them being more severe, and before I say this, I am not a Patriots or Tom Brady fan, but how can a guy be suspended without evidence of wrongdoing. I may have missed something, but all I heard was that he "more likely than not" knew about and/or put together the scheme to have the balls tampered with. I am glad he got suspended and think that he definitely is guilty, but without proof I am very surprised they came at him.
Ty Cobb
I agree with you, but the only way the 'boys win is with Brady on the bench. With or without Brady, the COWBOYS win the game vs new england!!!
BS Wildcats
With or without Brady, the COWBOYS win the game vs new england!!! Careful what you wish for. Suspension more than likely gets cut to two games, so Brady can pick that defense apart.

Peppermint Patty
Big difference, he overinflates them then gives them to the refs, not the other way around. No, it's not any different. He manipulates the air pressure to provide himself with a competitive advantage.
HurricaneCal
I think the difference is the NFL held a sting (which they actually screwed up), caught them with under inflated balls, Brady then lied, then didn't help with the investigation. A A Ron just mentioned he liked more air pressure. Not caught in the act, no investigation conducted, not caught in a flat out lie. HurricaneCal
Oh, and he did it before he gave the balls to the officials not after they were inspected.

You can hand the refs a deflated ball or a youth ball and your still in the right, what makes it wrong is when you alter the ball after the ref approves it. SKINS
So if the ref misses it, it's ok? What about the ref that puts the ball in play on every down? If the ref misses it then yes its his fault, that's the whole point of the inspection, make sure the balls are in regulation. The teams job is to supply balls for inspection, and if the ref says its good to go they are in the clear. I don't question the refs on the field for not noticing, my question is the center. Peppermint Patty
So since he is now a proven cheater, that had a direct effect on the outcome of games, does the NFL ban him from the HOF! The Pete Rose of the NFL?

baddog
Patriots have been caught cheating twice and people still defend them. If the Cowboys were caught under inflating footballs and winning SBs we would never hear the end of it and no one on here defending the Pats would defend the Boys.
