(6-2) BC gets Roddy (LC-M) with WO-S looming large if LC-M manages a win. Shugart now or hold for Stangs? District title in question?

(4-4) LC-M needs a win after loss to Silsbee.
BC/HJ/WO-S on schedule. Brutal 3 game stretch that has to yield at least 2 wins? Will it be enough.

Does (5-3) WO-S go for it all by saving twins for BC, LC-M or Silsbee, instead of using one against young (1-7) OF team who slowed down HJ, to get one win closer to playoff contention? Showdown with (7-3) Silsbee to end district?

(5-4) HJ hanging tough with an almost desperate LC-M squad and a rematch with (7-3) Silsbee to decide playoff fate. Will 6-6 get you in if it all goes wrong?

.500 seems to be cut line.
7-5 gets you in but who will that be?

I see that date changing to the 27th. ;)

 

District rules clearly states you play make up game on first available date without having to play 4 games in the week. Next week HJ has Silsbee on the 28th and off on the final district night, Fri. May 1. No reason for them not to play HF on that Monday instead of the Wed. they have the game currently scheduled.

 

Silsbee was told they "had" to play BC in Pineland. Should be the same case here in playing on the first available date. Be curious to see how this plays out.

UIL rules clearly states: It must be played on the next available date if can't be then it is determined by the District Executive Committee.  It states nothing about if it falls with having 4 games in one week.  The District Committee should meet on this matter.

The key word is "usually". I didn't say it has never has been done before.  It is "usually" under special circumstances when it is allowed to happen. Unless there is dire need for the game to be played, they will not allow the game to be played until the next available non-school evening (i.e. Friday night or Saturday), or the following week if the prior days mentioned are unavailable. This is what happened in this circumstance. It was deemed unnecessary for the game to be played today or tomorrow since the game could be played at a later date without causing problems for any other teams in the District.  The next available date for the game to be played was Saturday. So Saturday it is.......

Another change: game vs HF will be played at home tomorrow and will be senior night. Game is at 4:30, there will be no JV game.

Definitely so, BC is going to fall at least a game under where I thought they would finish and has to win all 3 of their last games to beat the 8 wins that Silsbee92 predicted would take district. I felt they would surely get 9 but they have made that tough. They have to beat a very tough WOS and avoid an upset next week. At least by records they have the "easiest" 3 game schedule left. The Tigers have a very tough 2 games to get to those 9 wins as well. WOS can take district if they take care of business as well but have to face the toughest of those 3 game schedules. It's anybody's district right now...and you could end up with a mess to figure out who goes in what place when it's over.

WO-S controls the playoffs.  Nobody else knows what they got or where they are, except maybe BC,

until WOS either wins out or loses a game this week.

 

Throw in the rest of them picking each other off one game at a time while dodging mother nature and her fickle moods and its chaos. 

Amazing district season.

 

Again, can the Anderson's hold up under the workload, doing pretty good so far imo, and if so who falls

victim to this impressive win streak.

I'm not sure what their numbers are but I have watched both of them pitch for the past few years and I'm just going off of what I have personally seen.  And it's just my opinion.
