I would have told you Patillos, but my last visit was not a good one.

Drive to Orange and eat at JBs. Hands down the best BBQ in the triangle. As far as brisket is concerned, there is no close second. You would have to drive to Pearland and eat at Killen's to beat it.

All meat smoked in mesquite wood.

 

But it was almost all smoked in pine last week. Had a little fire in attic, knocked them out of service for a few days. Back open now.

I shoulda took your advice, I've had better. Average at best. The sauce is ok though.

Tony's in PA ( and MB) is not bad.  The steak deal on Fridays is pretty good !

I agree, but the one in Groves sucks at brisket.

Tony's isn't special but it is good for local fare and is pretty consistent.

The one on Memorial always gives me extra brisket and turkey. If their sauce was legit id probably live at that place.

I had the smoked turkey breast there today. 

 

And yes, the sauce is a bit suspect.

Thats where I usually eat.  The one in Mont Belvieu isn't bad either.  I wish we had a Rudy's that was closer, I am going to miss it now that I'm moving back home.
