Game 1 of a Class 5A bi-district best of 3 series

 

The winner of this series will face the winner of the Fort Bend Elkins/Port Lavaca Calhoun series.

"The Goose"(aka GCM Baseball Field) will be electric come 5pm, when the purple ponies come visit for GM 1 of 3 in this Bi-District tilt. GCM will start only one Sr, whereas the ponies are a veteranSenior laden team, somebody forgot to tell the young GCM squad that they weren't suppose to be any good this year after losing 7 starters from their Regional Quarter-Final run last year. They finished 1 gm back from the district champ with a freshman SS, sophmores and jrs pitching staff and a first year HC. these boys will be a tough out for anyone they play, Coach Brian Williams picked up right where Thames left off last year, guiding this young but talented squad, to what hopes to be another deep run in the post season! GO Pats! We'll see yall at "The Goose!"
