tigerheart
Another walk by shepherd ends the kids night. Only allowed three hits but silsbee did a great job of moving runners along.

tigerheart
Oh wow. That was a terrible call. Short hop on a throw at first was obviously never caught but first base ump calls out.
WOSgrad
Going to the Bottom of the 4th, Silsbee 5, Shepherd 0 (well maybe)
tigerheart
Glad they reversed that. Neutral observer here and that was plain as day. Shouldn't have taken four umpires to get that one right.
tigerheart
Total change of pace. Silsbee capitalizing on every mistake. Silsbee has stolen every time they have gotten on. Silsbee only has 1 strikeout that I recall. Doing a great job of putting the ball in play. Haven't hit one hard yet, but they are putting consistent pressure on shepherd fielders. tigerheart
Hit batter (off the helmet and over the back stop) on the next pitch loss the bases and brings on a pitching change. 5 hole up for shepherd. Good effort from the silsbee kid, chastain I believe.

tigerheart
Wow. Momentum change again. Same kid who stroked at 2nd base first time around strokes one at the ss, who catches it and gets the double play at 2nd to end the inning. Big inning for shepherd here. Need to get back in the dugout and swinging again quick. Have labored through every inning thus far.
