tigerheart
5 runs on 2 hits.... Danced with the devil too long and now he's on the mound. He isn't quite older brother, but everything sure looks very similar. Not quite as big, not quite as hard.

AggiesAreWe
Who pitched for Silsbee? Partain started, Dunn came in the 4th, Whitted in the 6th. Partain's back started tightening up on him in the 4th. He faced the minimum thru 3 innings, no runs, no hits. Gave up 2 runs, 2 hits, walked 2 in first 4 batters in 4th, then was pulled. Dunn faced 2 batters in 4th, K and double play. Had a 6 pitch 5th inning, all ground outs. In the 6th, got first batter to ground out but then walked the next 3 to load bases, sac fly scores runner at 3rd, next batter K's but dropped 3rd strike allowed runner to advance and runner at 3rd scored, next batter doubled scoring 2 more, Dunn was then pulled. Whitted came in face 1 batter, gave up a hit that scored the 5th run of inning, that batter was then caught stealing 2nd to end the inning. Got to give credit to Shepherd for hanging in and taking advantage of situations in the end. Silsbee's youth kind of showed in the latter part of the game. Not a real issue but I thought that the score was 7-5 already. Whitted came in threw 2 pitches, 1-1 count and then Hardy threw out the runner at 2nd to end the inning.
