Not sure how that would explain the Amtrak train increasing by nearly 50 mph, even if it did happen. I mean, if the projectile is a bullet, and it hits the conductor through the window then sure, but I'd expect a broken window to make the train conductor slow down rather than speed up.

if it hit the conductor then the engineer would have stopped the train,if it hit the engineer then conductor stops train.engineer runs the train tho
