Senior Octavio Carmona pitched one of his best games of the year to lead Barbers Hill to a 4-0 victory over host Silsbee. BH is now 13-1 for the year and will start district play at home against Cleveland. The game is scheduled for Friday night at 7 p.m. Carmona pitched a complete game. He struck out 7, no walks (or hit batters) and gave up 3 hits. Barbers Hill banged out 11 hits on the night in scoring their 4 runs. Leading hitters for the Eagles were: Michael Padgett 2-4 with a triple, Chase Barrera 2-4 with a double and an RBI, Derek Hulsey 2-3 with an RBI, Cameron Campbell 1-2 with a double and Kyle McDonald 2-3. Guest Orangeboy Posted March 22, 2006 Report Posted March 22, 2006 Yeah I heard BH's JV was 11-1 and their only loss until yesterday was to Alvin. Silsbee's JV can hit the ball, the young kid Skinner threw for Silsbee.
