Prank or not, this is wrong. I can only imagine the emails PETA has already received this evening.
tvc184
Horrible. Might be a waste of a good piece of wild pig meat. thetragichippy, Mr. Buddy Garrity and 5GallonBucket
shovel
I saw this on facebook. One of the Moms lost her mind over this. Saying her daughter was traumatized and such. Lots of drama over something silly.
bullets13
I thought it was funny. If the pig was still alive, that would be cruel. If they stole someone's livestock, that would be wrong. But a dead wild pig? That's a good wild pig. 5GallonBucket

BMTSoulja1
Not funny at all... Very disturbing... From the flagpole where your nation and state flag hang...
tvc184
I understand the flag and saluting it and I always do. A flag pole? I have never thought of that as the symbol of the nation. Maybe I am missing something........... 5GallonBucket and RETIREDFAN1

tvc184
Interesting... I don't see how I can be more clearer on the content and meaning of my post... Yes, from the pole where the flag hangs seems very clear. My post was likewise clear. The pole by itself has no meaning. Now if they have removed the flag or trampled, I could see the issue with symbolism. It is a cheesy prank and a crime. To try and make it some kind of disrespect to the flag issue is stretching that rubber band beyond the breaking point. bullets13, RETIREDFAN1, 5GallonBucket and 1 other
BMTSoulja1
Your opinion. Nonetheless, it was unnecessary and whoever orchestrated this is an imbecile.
5GallonBucket
Really soulja.....my goodness. anthill to mountain. when I was in school kid put a bike at the top of flagpole. still feel the same way???? city folk never seen a dead animal....freak out... BMTSoulja1
I know all about senior pranks.... Graduating from Central in the mid 90's, I've seen and done a lot... But this... Could you actually see kids talking about this and thinking it's funny? It's not at all...a dead animal that was shot in the head and strung up from a flagpole? I mean, come on now. You REALLY don't think this was a complete waste? And me being from 'the city' has nothing to do with this. Truth be told, I would prefer for that hog to be on my breakfast plate than strung up. How's that for a city folk.... This isn't farmersonly.com you know.... Mr. Buddy Garrity
5GallonBucket
do you know the damage wild hogs cause? This is not a deer. Too me its the same as killing a fox, coyote, bobcat, or any other predator. Do you eat fox or coyote? If I hung a coyote at the top of a flagpole....would you consider this a waste? I ve killed several because I have livestock to protect....and a wildhog can kill livestock as well. Your whole "flagpole" argument is a reach that is ridiculous. And yes I do see kids thinking this is funny. I have nothing else to say. RETIREDFAN1
BMTSoulja1
Yes I would have a problem with a coyote or any animal... You're missing my point... Selective Comprehension it it's finest. And please to insult my intelligence. I know wild hogs are destructive. You think it's a reach, but it won't be the first or last time that you agree with me. In the past, I've also seen things that you've posted that was 'reaching'. You dint have anything else to say, but really, no one really asked you to say anything from the very beginning, so your absence on this post most definitely won't be missed.... ;)
5GallonBucket
maybe I do have more to say. just to keep the topic lively...(not for the hog's sake....too late for it) Wasn't insulting your intelligence. How do I know if you know what hogs can do. I live it so I do know first hand. A dead one is a good one. 1st this is a forum where people post their opinions. I didn't know mr buddy garrity was only wanting a response from certain people...like yourself and not from me. i invited myself it seems. I probably have reached before....call me out then. I want people to call me out when im wrong. So i take it that you took it personal that i think your opinion about the flagpole and what the flagpole represents or symbolizes is ridiculous? And actually i ve agreed with you before and also have disagreed with you....Selective Comprehension Memory ehhhh.
5GallonBucket
Do you really think this teen was thinking about disgracing the American or Texas Flag? How bout burning the flag....would you have rather that instead?
winwin
As long as the hog head is flying beneath the national and state flag, its all good ;) lol
