Is woodville getting new football turf plus new baseball & softball fields to. Jasper's facilities supposed to be ready by the 13 th they going to have meet the Bulldogs that night. I also heard a rumor that when Hardin Jefferson plays center they were going to play in Jasper if true yaw better bring some lawn chairs to sit along fence because there's not enough seating for varsity games yet. Hope to get more seating later

ive only seen him play defense,  I hear he can QB too but I'm sure his time will be  spent learning the defense at first

He's definitely a defender by nature. But I'd put money on him replacing Gore next year at QB.

We are about a week away from completing the football turf, which will be one of the highest quality turf fields in the state of Texas. $1.2 million for the turf alone. On top of that, we also resurfaced our basketball court. As of now, there are no definite plans to build a baseball/softball complex. BUT I can say, people are talking. The board is talking. Big things may be in the works. That's all I feel comfortable disclosing at the moment. My press conference speach is over lol

After Kountze mid-night madness...I'm feeling better about some things, but depth is a concern...I gotta go with Kcat-fan and hope for an injury free season.

If Kountze can avoid injuries they will be fine. But thats a big IF...  Im hearing good things from inside Lions camp so far. But its clear Kirbyville and EC are the favorites in the district. I still see Kountze getting 3rd behind them. Buna lost a ton and Woodville would have to show some MAJOR improvement from what i watched vs Kountze last season. With that said the 4th spot will be up for grabs between Buna and Woodville. Maybe throw Anahuac in that mix with Hardin and Warren bringing up the rear.

East Chambers turned the old basketball gym into weight and indoor practice. Sutherland did a great job.

Junior. He played as a freshman for Woodville, then started all last year for Center as a sophomore, now he's in Kirbyville as Junior and should be an impact player.
