Nash, Its been a discussion for years.. I think we all can admit the "opportunity" to bring this issue back to the national forefront is now. Before we all get back comfortable again and be in denial

Dove, there are four Military bases in this country that are named after Confederate Generals.  These are Bragg, Hood, Pickett, and Hill.  Should there be a demand that these bases be renamed Ft. Caitlin,( as in Jenner)  Fort Sam ( as in Michael), Ft. Dolezal, and Ft. Belafonte?

​What flag a state flies has nothing to do with the national forefront...it's the business of those in THAT state.

The south people forget that the south we're traitors to this nation and choose to spill blood and succeed from this nation why is we honoring them in any way. They don't deserve nothing nothing at all. They we're not heros. Says a lot about the south that in 2015 they're still those who think the should be honored they ain't fight for this nation they tried to kill it.

Cant help but wonder why , in 1987, Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton( with Hillary by his side) signed Act 116 that stated " The blue star above the word ARKANSAS, is to commemorate the Confederate States of America

But so I am sure you get it...No, the Feds were absolutely right to step in because individual rights were being abused/denied.

That is something no state (or any other gov) has the right to do...not here, anyway.

What difference it makes who agree with it or not is that suppose to change anything why make this about dems or Republicans. The flag should come down you do not let your enemy keep waving it's flag.

Should the fed gov step and tell a sovereign state what flag they can fly?

Why remove it, because you associate it with racism and slavery.  Sounds like you are as misinformed as millions is others as well as our ignorant govt. leaders.

      What news station do you watch?…..never mind.    What age are the children you take care of. Refugees from where? Are they in a hospital? Now children compared to criminals…..geeeez. The mayor of Denver and a few governors, including Newsom, have said they will not turn over incarcerated criminals to ICE. This is a felony. They are harboring criminals and fugitives. Gee, I’m so glad you want criminals protected. Anyone who crossed illegally into our country is a criminal. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
