Mayor Wharton wants to exhume bodies of a Confederate General and his wife from a city park.  He made a comment about no blacks wanting to have a picnic in the shadows of this.  How far is this stupid s@%# gonna go.  If you don't like the South:  MOVE.

​For once, I agree with you.  This is getting way out of hand.  Although it is a terrible part of history it is still history that should be learned from.  Trying to erase it is revisionist at best.

Been there all these years, and now somebody gets upset and we want to take these drastic measures.  These symbols have been there through far worse atrocities, and no body came up with the lame brained idea to exhume bodies from graves, until now.  Bandwagon jumpers if you ask me.  As BG said in another post, wussification if America.
