tvc184 Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 That article is some of the biggest hogwash that I have ever read. It ends up by saying something like, "Well, Congress can't really change it but cut off the money and we can do anything against Supreme Court rulings".Really? Obama hasn't signed a budget since he has been the president. We have seen how well shutting down the government works. People that are in fear of losing their welfare checks will again blame the Republicans and with an election looming. Returning the Democrats to control over Congress would then do what for this idea? The entire premise is gibberish. I don't agree with the ruling but the threat of shutting down the government indefinitely is laughable. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

77 Posted June 28, 2015 Report Posted June 28, 2015 I believe we will see much more racial violence because a country is much easier to rule if the political elite class can divide by race and financial income. Just like the blacks have risin up against the police I also think we will be seeing other races rise up also.Dont agree with any of it but thats the nature of the beast and as long as you have hate mongers on all sides spewing their nonsense it will happen. smitty Posted June 28, 2015 Author Report Posted June 28, 2015 Since James Madison said that the Judiciary is the "weekest of the three branches," it is my understanding that the Congress can limit the Courts authority. For this gay issue, Congress could pass by law a bill that said "nothing involving the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman will be heard by the federal courts." Period! I've heard this before that Constitutionally, Congress has the right to limit the Courts. And more education: How many realize that one doesn't have to be a lawyer to be on the Supreme Court? Quote

PAMFAM10 Posted June 29, 2015 Report Posted June 29, 2015 Lets say for some reason (which I believe is false) that race relationships started to drop under this administration.(and wasn't already on a downward spin). What has this president said or passed to make it his fault. If I had a son he'll look like trayvon. People of color don't trust the police is this not things we aint already no. I can give you legislation passed by past presidents words use by past presidents that's lightyears pass anything you guy can come up with.Barack has talked from broken homes to police brutality concerning blacks. You read what you wanna read to fit a narrative. stay off those right winged blogs and come up with your own opions. So if a Republican is elected will it be his fault race relations are down in 2016-2020. Stop reaching. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

Which still remains the question: why the other 6 burned down? Not by coincidence IMO. You never heard of Michelle Malkin? Hummm...From the article: "On Monday, a Baltimore Sun lead editorial decried "a series of mysterious fires at African-American churches across the South" in the wake of the Charleston murders. The newspaper cited a "pattern" of attacks, including what it claimed was an "uptick in attacks on 37 black churches in the South" in the 1990s that "prompted President Bill Clinton to set up a church-arson investigative task force. The Sun neglected to mention that Clinton had falsely claimed at the time that he had "vivid and painful memories of black churches being burned in my own state when I was a child"-- an assertion immediately debunked by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette." Anything by the left to stoke the fire. Even if it's a lie, that doesn't matter. It's the thought that counts! LOL!! Edited July 2, 2015 by smitty Quote
