Coach Thibodeaux from Sabine Pass was awarded Coach of the Year for 1A Football. The sharks won there first district game in several years and drug themselves out of the cellar. This was no easy feat with the trials that school has gone through over the past 1 1/2. Only good things in the future for the Sabine Pass Sharks. Good Job Coach Thibodeaux

Congrats Coach Thib.  Well deserving!  He took a football team that played three games last season due to Rita and turned the program around, which in my opinion is pretty amazing for a first year head coach.  During his first year the Sabine Pass Sharks were playing for a playoff spot against Evadale.  AWESOME JOB COACH!!!!!
