In my opinion, the layoffs were not a decision in which he participated.  If he was involved in the decision, then he may not be as "compassionate" as you think he isand he believes in fiscal responsibility ( aka- layoffs instead of borrowing more money to keep a loser going)

In my opinion, the layoffs were not a decision in which he participated.  If he was involved in the decision, then me may not be as committed to the left as you think he is and he believes in fiscal responsibility ( aka- layoffs instead of borrowing more money to keep a loser going).    I am hopeful that this clears up your contextual interpretation concerns.  By the way, if you have time, read my post entitled Leftist Enlightenment and give me your view of that situation.

I also firmly believe there are plenty on this site who would never have given this President a chance in part because of the color of his skin.  It is obvious in the vitriol they spew.  As far as this issue and others involving, at least on the periphery "reverse discrimination," I think it's a load of crap and a way for white people to divert any issues of discrimination and voice their displeasure over any special treatment of men and women of color.

 In truth, I have not the foggiest clue what it's like to experience racism or truly to be discriminated against because of the color of my skin. And I doubt you or many other Caucasians on this board have either.

Hoops, I do enjoy your posts, but I do disagree here. I honestly believe most don't give a flip about our Presidents skin color. I hate him because he is a crooked, lying, Musloid socialist. I really don't care about his pigmentation. 

While I might not have experienced racism like some others have, I've been told that I didn't get a job because they needed more minorities. I understand that the world is not fair, so I'm not complaining.  I just think your generalizations are wrong.
