77
The FBI is now saying they missed the fact that the shooter in SC church should not have been able to buy the gun but FBI overlooked his arrest record and drug use arrest. So once again the laws are in place to stop people from getting guns that shouldn't have them but they are not properly enforced just like so many other laws. I bought a shotgun from a local store a few weeks ago and it took me about 45 minutes because they had to run my drivers lic. and back ground check. Moral of the story is to follow laws we have! Most loons that think we don't have back ground checks are the ones with armed bodyguards and don't have to buy a gun. Mr. Buddy Garrity
So which one is it: he bought the gun or his family member gave it to him as a gift??
Hagar
So which one is it: he bought the gun or his family member gave it to him as a gift?? According to NBC, he bought the gun. It adds to the tragedy. I've always wondered how effective all the gun checks are. So many people, so many checks. Sad. Very sad! BS Wildcats
So which one is it: he bought the gun or his family member gave it to him as a gift?? Does it really matter? He would have done the same if it were given to him or he bought it when according to reports he should not have been able to.

Hagar
Will have to give a kudo to head of FBI for coming out with this, especially considering what a high profile case this is. I'm certainly quick to hammer Govt folks when they don't do right (which is most of the other high profile leeches).
