TradinUp BH
Not as much talk this go around. Should have snapshot figures in about 4 months and find out I think in February. Probably not much change in setx, but Houston area about to have another big boom of HS built. ISD that are building or looking at getting bonds passed are Katy 1, Cy-Fair 2, Montgomery 1, Conroe 1, Klein 1, New Caney 1, and i think i read a couple of others. Should be interesting. Wondering if anyone else has heard of any movement or other schools being built. Mr. Buddy Garrity

Kegger
Wonder if they're going to adjust the cutoff numbers at all. Jasper is barely in 4A DI and Huffman, Splendora, and Cleveland are almost in 5A based on the current enrollment cutoffs.
Skilled95
Cleveland, Huffman, and Splendora maybe 5A soon. I'm thinking they will add Dayton, Porter, and New Caney to the same district.

I'm thinking they will add Dayton, Porter, and New Caney to the same district.I'm not so sure Dayton would be in this district. In my opinion it would more likely be Caney Creek. Caney Creek is only about 10 miles from New Caney, Porter, and Splendora.

BADSANTA
Clevland get a spike in move in students? Thought they were around
Kegger
That whole area from Cleveland to Humble is growing in population. Plus there are a few subdivisions opening up that will straddle the Splendora Cleveland school district lines.
Mr. Buddy Garrity
Clevland get a spike in move in students? Thought they were around 600 more like almost around 1,000. They were above 900 last realignment. BADSANTA
Kegger
With Dayton's district already at 9 teams, I would imagine if Huffman, Splendora, and Cleveland went up there would be a possibility in splitting the existing district into two. The Icon
There's been rumor of the Goose Creek schools getting their lines rezoned. This would result in the 3 schools having similar numbers around the 5A cutoff. That would put Sterling down with Lee and GCM. Wouldnt be interesting if that were to occur and PAM were to drop? Oh the places you will go!

Kegger
What happens if a school opens up after realignment? I believe that a second school in Montgomery is opening up in 2 years. That would lower Montgomery's enrollment. Would the UIL adjust those schools' classification?
The Icon
PA Memorial not dropping, huge middle school class coming. Good for the golden triangle 5A district then! Will be interesting to see what'll happen if all 3 goose creek schools become 5A

The Icon
they dont even need 3 high schools in Baytown. AgreedSounds like parents have been opting for their babies to go to GCM over Lee and Sterling. Hence, the re-zoning of the lines. We'll see if it actually happen

Cougar14.2
This is another example of what I mean by the "times have changed". Alvin ISD approves zones for new school. Next year Shadow Creek Ranch will open with a projected enrollment of 1805 students and drop Manvel's projected enrollment to 1470 students creating two more 5A powerhouses to contend with. Some people in SETX think winning has to go in cycles, yet before the first class graduates Shadow Creek they're already legitimate title contenders.
