JRidge Posted July 19, 2015 Report Posted July 19, 2015 The Ozen Panthers are excited to receive a new baseball H.C. Waskyla Cullivan who comes with a large amount of experience and enthusiasm. He was Prairie View A&M University H.C. for the past 13 seasons and won a SWAC Championship as well as many other tournament appearances. He also was a member of Houston's Forest Brook H.S. which was a win away from appearing in the UIL State Finals. Cullivan believes that his current team is talented and looks forward to being competitive in District 22-5a.Meet Coach Cullivan during his news interview with Channel 6.News 6 This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted July 21, 2015 Report Posted July 21, 2015 Great step in the right direction for Ozen...obviously have some athletes...coach them up with some Baseball 101 and 201 in some cases and Ozen will complete. I like to see schools reaching out for the new blood and hiring fresh enthusiastic coaches. JRidge 1 Quote
JRidge Posted July 21, 2015 Author Report Posted July 21, 2015 Yes it is. It's all about putting a good product on the field and giving kids an opportunity to learn the game properly so that they can hopefully attract some college scholarship offers! Coach Cullivan will bring a disciplined, productive, up-tempo practice so that these kids can learn the game the right way. EXCITED! BearWolf 1 Quote

JRidge Posted July 21, 2015 Author Report Posted July 21, 2015 seems like a good coach. the problem will be keeping him....... Some people like what they like and he plans to move to Beaumont because the location fits him better. Good family man who has long term plans to build a solid program here. Hopefully everything works out for everyone. walldrill 1 Quote
