CRUSHCOACH Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 WOW !!! What a ROUGH GAME!! I think it could have been played just as clean if there wouldn't have been any referees. That was entirely too rough for a basketball game. I hope the Vidor player that got hit in the nose is OK and nothing is broken. I'm surprised that she was the only one that had to leave with an injury !The Lady Bears ended the season on a good note with a win and that will be something to build on for next year. Things look bright for LCM in the near future with so many underclassmen playing this year. As for the Seniors, you ladies should be proud of what you accomplished this year. You made some big improvements from previous years and you have helped get something started for LCM. We will miss all of you ! Miss Taylor Denton, Miss Allison Clary, and Miss Brittany Twiner, I will miss ya'll next year and I wish all of you the best of luck in whatever you decide to do after you graduate ! There's no doubt whatever you do you will be successful ! Oh one more thing, TWINER, SHOOOOOTTTT!!!!!!!
Slam14 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 LCM finished on a positive note with a hard fought win that was good for the players who will return next year as well as a great way to go out for the 3 seniors who will graduate. I see a bright future for Lady Bear Basketball and I think the 3 seniors have tought the underclassmen some valuable lessons. 3 great young ladies that I have no doubt will do well in whatever they chose to be a part of. Taylor Denton - always played much bigger and tougher than she actually is.Allison Clary - always quick with a smile and a jumper from the corner.Brittany Twiner - a never say die wide open til the end spirit. (school maintenance probably spent half the morning repairing the first 2 rows of the bleachers where you crashed) Thanks again seniors -----and to all of you underclassmen ----how hard are you going to work in the off season?
Dawg_Pride Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 Im glad my cousin Ashley gets to play with a talented group of juniors and sophmores!
