AHUDDLESTON
Headline: Cop kills unarmed teen! Should have at least mentioned hat he drove his car into a dealership showroom, started smashing cars up, and fought with police when they tried to arrest him.Headline #2: Cop kills unarmed white teenager. No mention in the title that he was trying to run over the policemen with a car when shot. Long Tall Texan

tvc184
Attacking an officer or moving toward him while he is pointing a gun and saying to stop is not the most intelligent thing a person can do. The dead guy looks like he was whacked out on some serious drugs. Long Tall Texan and thetragichippy

thetragichippy
Headline #1: He fought the cops? Be very careful with your answer.Miller confronted Taylor and ordered him to get down on the ground, Johnson said. Taylor did not comply. Instead, he began "actively advancing toward Officer Miller," Johnson said.Miller's field training officer, who had followed Miller into the showroom, drew his own Taser. The training officer heard a single pop of what he thought was Miller's Taser, but Miller actually had drawn his service weapon and fired it at Taylor, who is believed to have been 7 to 10 feet away from the officer, Johnson said. After Taylor continued to approach, Miller fired his gun three more times. So here is my thing......If one shot from a service revolver will not stop him from approaching, what would the taser have done? Letting someone get 7-10 ft from you while there charging is pretty generous in my mind......but again, I'm too old to fist fight a 20 year old on drugs..... baddog
If I am a cop and have to draw my weapon on you and you advance towards me anyway, you will probably die. I am already risking my life for an entire community and following procedures to make an arrest. I guess most people want to see the officer go down. Not me. 77
So I guess if your are committing a crime you have more rights than the police or the law abiding citizen. If your gonna break the law be prepared to suffer the consequences if it means dying for your crime so be it! How about you don't break the law and if you do go ahead and obey the law when they tell ya to do something! geeeesh!

Good is bad, bad is good, and illegal immigrants now serve on the board of supervisors in a city in California. We are essentially being "conditioned" to believe that police and other authority figures are bad and should be disrespected. stevenash
Which is why the leadership in this country, that promised to unite, has done precisely the opposite. Chester86
