Parish and Comeaux came my my tailgate Saturday at the Lamar football game. I fed them about 10 pounds of links and boudain! lol I asked them if Ozen 2 was straight JV. Comeaux said he thinks it will be a mix. Lets hope so

hey im filing tampering charges lolllll dont feed them they won't ever leave... u know that theyll be looking for u next time haha...it could be a mix although i doubt it..imo its time to start seeing what your varsity could "possibly" look like ..."a la chemistry"

Ozen has been getting their heads handed to them during various Fall Ball events. The #2 5A team in the state don't lose Fall Spring or Summer ball vs the likes of Beaumont Kelly."

While his statement may be true, it's just the kind of locker room material I'm looking for!

yes, Jordan Hunter, Christian Bolton and Wayne Wyngarde.  

Kelly is missing two starters, one of whom is arguably their best player.

Although a couple of years (and summers) at Kelly has done wonders for their pg from Port Arthur, the Baker kid.  Saw them a couple of weeks ago and he has become one of the better PGs in the area.  Been watching him play for several years now and always thought the kid could play.  But I have never seen him distribute the ball like he is now.  Superior coaching I am guessing...

 But you know, we will be starting for juniors and one sophomore this year. So looks like next year we have a shot to be pretty average

I dont think Ozen has really ever done well in preseason tournaments ...focus isnt really on the looking good right now for the masses...

Kelly need to look at Silsbee and Ozen and take advantage of fall ball and play all it's players instead of 7 man rotation. YOU NEED TO SEE WHAT YOU HAVE. Some players are gamers some are practice and some are both.FIND YOUR TALENT that's what good programs do.

We invite all of our Varsity group to play in Fall and Spring events. We will have 13 on the Varsity squad this year. Three are in football right now, so we invite the other 10 to fall and spring tournaments. Sometimes they can't all make it, so we have to go with 6 or 7

We have 38 kids in the program. Cant bring them all. For instance, in the Nederland Fall League, we brought everyone because Nederland had two divisions. But for Varsity only tournaments, we only bring the Varsity guys. These are opportunities for the Varsity players to get in some good work before the season starts. You are correct, its not about winning in the fall. Just getting better and preparing for the season.
