Why does Huffman have their JV team playing at the varsity tournament? Is the varsity team playing in a different tournament this weekend?

It looked like they had some teams possibly drop out, so they may have put them in last minute. I believe their Varsity is in it as well. The scores you were getting were from one gym. They had another gym playing games across the parking lot. PNG was originally scheduled to play Channelview, Caney Creek and Baytown Lee. They ended up playing Channelview, Huffman JV and Crosby.

PNG looking pretty dang good so far. They should do well in district.

That's all that I saw. The first day of the tournement PNG stumbled a little. I thought they could have competed a little better. They looked a little flat. PNG has a very balanced and fun team to watch. Looking forward to watching them compete all year.
